ABOUT

STELLAR READING CENTER

WHO IS STELLAR READING CENTER?

Stellar Reading Center was formed to specifically target a tutoring service for children and adults with dyslexia. The Center provides services that includes an initial dyslexia screening, one on one dyslexia tutoring and a writing class both in a small group setting and one on one. The tutoring sessions are designed to be one on one to allow for a non-threatening and comfortable environment where the child can learn directly from the tutor without fear of making mistakes. All tutors are Certified in an Orton Gillingham Base System, with added dyslexia tools and techniques developed by Stellar. The curriculum can take a child as early as kindergarten and up through high school ages. However, the curriculum is also structured to provide the same value to adults, including those that may enter college or trade schools after high school. In essence the program is designed to take on any dyslexic at any age, at any stage in their educational development.
